Hundreds of young professionals and movers and shakers in the fields of finance, fashion, philanthropy, and breast cancer research and development joined The Pink Agenda for its Annual Spring Gala. The event, which honored NBC’s Hoda Kotb and was sponsored by Royal Bank of Canada, Bacardi USA, and Works by Nicole Williams, featured cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction, as well as moving accounts of the effects of the disease. Annual Spring Gala

Hundreds of young professionals, along with some of the nation’s foremost authorities on breast cancer research and development, came together for The Pink Agenda’s Annual Spring Gala, raising awareness and more than $50,000 toward the search for a cure. Held at Twenty Four Fifth, the former ballroom of the Fifth Avenue Hotel, the event featured a keynote speech by Marisa Acocella Marchetto, breast cancer survivor and author of the best-selling graphic novel Cancer Vixen, as well as cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction. Boston Launch Party

More than 125 young professionals from around the city gathered at Financial District hotspot Sanctuary after work and, for a small donation, were treated to fantastic door prizes. Attendees donned pink ribbons and left the event armed not only with an increased awareness about breast cancer, but also with goodie bags that included items from a number of Boston-based companies and organizations.

The event brought two of the city’s most storied industries together and was such a hit that it’s sure to become an annual event. Inaugural Gala

The Pink Agenda’s inaugural event, which was held at the Princeton Club of New York, attracted a sold out crowd. Randi Rosenberg, founder of the Young Survival Coalition, and Paul Schaye, long-time cancer fundraiser and founding partner of Chestnut Hill Partners, were the keynote speakers. The event also included cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction.
