The Pink Agenda will once again participate in Komen NYC’s Race For The Cure, the premier fundraiser for the Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. We’ll join more than 20,000 New Yorkers, including 1,500 breast cancer survivors, at the annual 5K Run/Walk and help run breast cancer out of town! Click here to join or support our team.

Annual Spring Gala
New York City
May 15, 2008

Hundreds of young professionals, along with some of the nation’s foremost authorities on breast cancer research and development, came together for The Pink Agenda’s Annual Spring Gala, raising awareness and more than $50,000 toward the search for a cure. Held at Twenty Four Fifth, the former ballroom of the Fifth Avenue Hotel, the event featured a keynote speech by Marisa Acocella Marchetto, breast cancer survivor and author of the best-selling graphic novel Cancer Vixen, as well as cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction.

More than 125 young professionals from around the city gathered at Financial District hotspot Sanctuary after work and, for a small donation, were treated to fantastic door prizes. Attendees donned pink ribbons and left the event armed not only with an increased awareness about breast cancer, but also with goodie bags that included items from a number of Boston-based companies and organizations.

The Pink Agenda goes to Washington! DC’s young professionals gathered to bid on some of the City’s most eligible and win date packages, which included tickets to local sporting events dinners at some of the Capital’s best restaurants.

Hundreds raised a glass for the cure as we celebrated Fashion Week in SoHo. The event brought two of the city’s most storied industries together and was such a hit that it’s sure to become an annual event. The Fashion and Finance Party was sponsored by eFinancialCareers, the online marketplace for financial jobs, the fashion label Lorick, and Urbanista.com, an online New York City-based rolodex. The Pink Agenda team participated in the 17th annual Komen New York City Race, joining more than 22,000 others, including 1,500 survivors for Komen for the Cure’s premier fundraising event.

The Pink Agenda’s inaugural event, which was held at the Princeton Club of New York, attracted a sold out crowd. Randi Rosenberg, founder of the Young Survival Coalition, and Paul Schaye, long-time cancer fundraiser and founding partner of Chestnut Hill Partners, were the keynote speakers. The event also included cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction.
