I’m a month out of my bilateral mastectomy and was lucky enough to have the spacers put in to have reconstruction done. I’ve only had one expansion and I’m finding myself feeling alone and like this is too much. I’m almost to the point of having them take out the spacers and just rocking being flat chested. I’m a single mother of a three and one year old and to not be able to pick them up let alone play with them like I use too is so awful. How do you get the strength to keep going? I did this for my kids, to have a future with my kids but my strength is wavering and I feel alone in the dark. Does anyone else or has anyone else felt the same?
