Pounding the Pavement The Brunswick Group, the critical communications firm that is the world’s leading M&A communications advisory, has assembled a team to run the New York Marathon to raise money for The Pink Agenda. We kicked off the effort with a cocktail party at the New York Athletic Club, which included remarks by Jim Wilkinson, the Brunswick partner who is spearheading the initiative, and Dr. Larry Norton, the deputy physician-in-chief for breast cancer programs and the medical director of the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. |

Held at Twenty Four Fifth, the former ballroom of the Fifth Avenue Hotel, the event featured a keynote speech by Marisa Acocella Marchetto, breast cancer survivor and author of the best-selling graphic novel Cancer Vixen, as well as cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction. Boston Launch Party More than 125 young professionals from around the city gathered at Financial District hotspot Sanctuary after work and, for a small donation, were treated to fantastic door prizes. Attendees donned pink ribbons and left the event armed not only with an increased awareness about breast cancer, but also with goodie bags that included items from a number of Boston-based companies and organizations. |
