Diagnosed in March 2020, Heather took on her breast cancer treatment head on, all while taking care of her young son amidst the pandemic. After spending the better part of the year indoors, she tried to find way for her and her family to spend time outdoors, which helped her get her strength and stride back. Through their adventures, Heather decided she wanted to learn how to paddleboard. FAB-U-WISH was thrilled to arrange for Heather to have a shopping experience at REI to purchase a paddleboard and enjoy the outdoors while creating memories with her family for years to come.
