Shannon is a mother and a wife who was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. She went through many rounds of chemo and radiation, but luckily Shannon’s condition was able to improve from terminal to treatable. The treatments were tough, however, and Shannon was left with low spirits and low confidence in her appearance. With a young daughter, Shannon wanted to make sure that no matter what happened, her daughter would photos of Shannon looking her most beautiful.
Shannon reached out requesting a special photoshoot experience and we were more than happy to grant her wish. Shannon was given a day to feel great about herself and to take her mind off cancer. Always a fan of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, she was glammed up in the likeness of Audrey Hepburn, and was even able to take some photos inspired by her grandparents’ photos. This special, uplifting experience gave her even more strength to defy the odds of metastatic cancer, feel fabulous while doing it, and give her daughter photos to forever treasure.
