With no family history, Tamara was in complete shock and overwhelmed when diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2021. Everything happened so quickly, as Tamara dove right into appointments, tests, and a treatment plan. Experiencing her treatments and surgeries during the pandemic was incredibly isolating, but Tamara persevered.
Now entering this new chapter of survivorship, Tamara has become very involved in the breast cancer community and even joined her local dragon boat team, Catch-22, with other breast
cancer survivors and thrivers.
With the help of our friends Kendra Scott, FAB-U-WISH was thrilled to arrange for Tamara to enjoy some time for self-care. This included a special Kendra Scott jewelry experience and a shopping spree at Macy’s and Anthropologie, a few of Tamara’s favorite stores.
