A FAB-U-WISH FOR TARA

In the spring of 2016, at the age of 31, Tara was enjoying her life as a newlywed when she spotted an abnormal mark. She mentioned it to her doctor during her annual exam the following week and it was recommended that she see a breast surgeon. A few days later, Tara Hall received the call that changed her life forever. It was an immediate whirlwind of appointments, scans, and more appointments before surgeries and rounds of radiation. With the support and encouragement of her husband, family, and work colleagues, Tara persevered through her treatments.

Just a week away from her five-year cancer milestone, Tara was working out when she noticed another abnormal mark. She spoke with her doctors, who scheduled her for another biopsy. A week later she was told that it was breast cancer once again, though not a recurrence as the pathology was completely different. Tara underwent her second bout with strength and determination.

Throughout her journey, Tara has been able to focus on the positives. Many of her relationships have grown because of these experiences. She has made wonderful new friendships and has been able to help other women and friends going through similar experiences know that they are not alone and can overcome this.

Giuliana, FAB-U-WISH, and The Pink Agenda were thrilled to be able to recognize Tara at the TPA Annual Atlanta Gala. As part of her wish experience, we also arranged for Tara to have a fun day of shopping at Nordstrom.
