ADD TO THE AGENDA | WINTER 2024

The Pink Agenda (TPA) community is looking forward to another exciting year ahead and to building on our success in 2023. TPA finished the year with a tremendous donation of $1.25 million to our partner BCRF, which will help fund over 25,000 hours of life-changing breast cancer research. Additionally, we granted 44 wishes through Giuliana Rancic’s FAB-U-WISH program.

We are already off to an incredible start this year, as we look towards new opportunities to engage today’s generation of young professionals to find tomorrow’s cure. We hope you will join us!

SNOWFLAKE SOIREE

Earlier this month, we gathered with friends and family for our second annual Snowflake Soirée in NYC! We welcomed new leadership and raised a glass to the life-changing breast cancer research TPA supported in 2023, while toasting to an impactful year ahead. We’re so grateful to have been hosted by The Jeffrey Craft Beer & Bites, which also created and donated the proceeds from our very own signature TPA cocktail. We welcome 50 attendees and raised funds for over 50 hours of research.

EDUCATIONAL EVENTS

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

The Pink Agenda is committed to #RaiseAwareness about breast cancer. We work to educate, inform, inspire, and motivate young professionals about ways to think about their own health while understanding the multi-faceted nature of this disease.

We are delighted to announce that TPA Talks will be returning to The Sheen Center for Thought and Culture this year on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:00 PM! TPA’s

annual health and wellness educational symposium will feature a diverse lineup of speakers. The second half of this year’s event will be dedicated to a panel discussion on the topic of family planning and how it relates to a breast cancer diagnosis. Panelists include actor, advocate, and breast cancer survivor, Sarrah Strimel Bentley, entrepreneur and breast cancer survivor, Pamela Schein Murphy, and reproductive endocrinologist and fertility specialist, Lucky Sekhon, M.D.

We are thrilled to be adding several more educational events around the country to our agenda this spring including TPA Talks Atlanta on Tuesday, April 30 as well as TPA Supper Clubs in Boston this spring and Chicago on Wednesday, May 8. Please keep an eye out for additional details and registration links coming soon

NYC HALF

RUNNING FOR RESEARCH

The Pink Agenda’s NYC Half team of 15 runners is off to the races, raising over $40,000 and counting to help fund over 800 hours of breast cancer research! We can’t wait to cheer them on race day, Sunday, March 17.

We’ll be waving our pink pom-poms and making noise as they head into mile 10. Friends and family are welcome to join us at our cheer station on E 42nd St between 2nd & 3rd Aves (north side of 42nd St) starting at 8:30 AM. We hope you’ll help us get loud for our incredible runners! To check out our Team TPA members’ stories and support their fundraising pages, click here. FAB-U-WISH

RAISING AWARENESS & RAISING SPIRITS

Last year, thanks to the kindness and generosity of our friends at Kendra Scott, TPA had the honor of granting wishes to 11 incredible women who have recently undergone treatment for breast cancer.

Kendra Scott surprised each of the women with personal styling sessions, where they were able to both design and shop for beautiful jewelry. Afterwards, the grantees saw their wishes come true! Wishes ranged from shopping sprees to a day of pampering to home décor updates and much more.

Thank you, Kendra Scott, for making so many unbelievable wishes happen this year!

Breast cancer treatment and self-care should not be a trade off, and FAB-U-WISH is here to help! Click here to learn more about how to make a wish happen.
