Yolanda went in for a routine mammogram when a spot was discovered. An ultrasound and biopsy led to her shocking diagnosis of breast cancer. She has no family history and genetic testing showed that she was not a carrier of the BCRA gene. Yolanda’s journey with treatment was long and challenging but she has had a wonderful support system throughout it all. Her wish was to celebrate her birthday and the start of a new year with those she loves and have been by her side the past two years. The team at #FABUWISH was thrilled to arrange for Yolanda to enjoy a special celebratory dinner with her loved ones.

“I’d like to extend my gratitude FAB-U-WISH. Your support means everything to me. The past two years have been incredibly challenging. There were days when I doubted my ability to overcome this battle, and others when I felt like giving up. Breast cancer is a multifaceted experience that goes beyond surgery and treatment; it’s an emotional journey that affects your physical well-being. The medication can be overwhelming, causing memory lapses, changes in physical appearance, muscle pain, stiffness, and feelings of isolation and unresolved grief. On my birthday, I had the opportunity to honor my support tribe because of  Giuliana Rancic and her FAB-U-WISH Team. My support tribe has been remarkable; they’ve been there for me through phone calls, grocery shopping, personal care, and emotional support. FAB-U-WISH I thank you!”
