United Airlines NYC Half

Every March, the United Airlines NYC Half takes runners on a thrilling 13.1-mile journey through the heart of New York City. Starting in Brooklyn, the course crosses the Manhattan Bridge, winds north along the FDR Drive, and races through Times Square—one of only two times it’s closed to traffic each year—before culminating in a memorable finish in Central Park. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that captures the spirit of NYC like no other.
HALF MARATHON TEAM MEMBER BENEFITS
- Guaranteed entry into the United Airlines Half
- Team T-shirt
- Assistance setting up a personalized fundraising website
- Form letter for potential supporters
HALF MARATHON RESPONSIBILITIES
- Commitment to raise at least $1,500 for The Pink Agenda
- Responsibility for the registration fee paid to New York Road Runners ($135 entry fee for NYRR members, $160 for non-members)
- Requirement to provide credit card information as a personal guarantee
TCS NEW YORK CITY MARATHON

Each year on the first Sunday of November, over 50,000 runners gather at the base of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge to embark on the world’s largest marathon. Spanning all five boroughs, the course takes participants from Staten Island to Manhattan, energized by the cheers of tens of thousands of spectators lining the streets. It’s a race like no other, offering an unparalleled celebration of endurance, community, and the spirit of New York City.
