EDUCATIONAL EVENTS
A Season of Education and Impact: TPA’s Supper Clubs and Speaker Series
This fall, The Pink Agenda continued to elevate breast cancer awareness and education through its TPA Supper Club initiative and nationwide Speaker Series.
We began the season in New York with TPA Supper Club: Brunch Edition on September 20 at Quality Bistro. Dr. Paul Baron, Chief of Breast Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, led a dynamic conversation focused on the future of breast cancer research, risk-reducing lifestyle strategies, and the role of genetics. He was joined by Dr. Lisa Baron, Chief of the Division of Breast Imaging at Lenox Hill Hospital, who contributed additional insights on imaging and early detection.
We then headed south for TPA Supper Club Palm Beach on October 21, a sold-out evening at kitchen in West Palm Beach. Guests heard from Dr. Mehran Habibi, Chief of Breast Surgery at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute and Deputy Chief of Breast Surgery for Baptist Health Cancer Care, who shared updates on the latest innovations in breast cancer treatment and care.
On November 6, we took the series to the west coast for the Inaugural TPA Supper Club Los Angeles, featuring a thoughtfully prepared meal from Chefs Emily DaSilva and Tom Maund. Raul Martinez, VP of Women’s Health Services at RadNet, led an engaging discussion on advancements in breast imaging and the evolving landscape of early detection.
Rounding out the season, a once-again sold-out TPA Supper Club New York returned on November 18 at MM Kitchen Studio. Chef Amanda Freitag offered a special cooking demonstration, and TPA-funded Investigator Dr. Dawn Hershman of Columbia University guided a conversation on current research and the future of breast cancer prevention and care.
Alongside these gatherings, TPA’s Speaker Series continued to educate and empower communities nationwide. Throughout the fall, more than 25 companies and organizations—including CDK Global, Kraft Heinz, SYSCO, and WWire—hosted programs featuring young breast cancer thrivers, survivors, and previvors. These sessions highlighted personal experiences, essential breast health education, and the importance of early detection and risk awareness.
Together, these events broadened understanding, sparked meaningful dialogue, and strengthened TPA’s commitment to bringing us closer to a future where breast cancer is no longer a threat.
ATHLETIC ENDEAVORS
Team TPA Takes on the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon
This year, 41 dedicated Team TPA runners hit the pavement with purpose — raising more than $233,000 to advance lifesaving breast cancer research and support FAB-U-WISH. Their determination, passion, and resilience powered every mile and helped move our mission forward. We’re so proud of this incredible team and grateful to everyone who supported their journey.
CHAPTER EVENTS
This fall, supporters in cities across the country came together to move our mission forward — one workout, tailgate, and wellness experience at a time.
TPA NYC Burlesque Bingo was held at The Moxy East Village for an evening that blended playful competition with artistic expression. Guests enjoyed electrifying performances by Mia Preisser and King Queen, creating an atmosphere that was both bold and empowering.
TPA Boston raised their pulses and awareness during a special workout with master trainer Christina Lodde at Ethos Fitness + Performance. Our Boston College Tailgate was a win for TPA uniting fans before BC’s Homecoming game against UCONN, while raising funds and support for breast cancer research.
TPA Chicago got moving with a full-body Barre3 class designed to energize participants while supporting TPA’s work, and Pink x Perspire in Denver offered a rejuvenating evening of infrared therapy, red light, and chromotherapy — combining self-care with meaningful impact.
Across every city and studio, these events showed that fitness, fun, and community spirit can drive real progress for breast cancer research.
INDEPENDENT EVENTS
Across the country, supporters continue to fuel The Pink Agenda’s mission through creative, community-driven fundraisers. These independent events are an essential cornerstone of our work—uniting passionate individuals, schools, studios, and organizations who raise awareness, raise support, and help accelerate progress in breast cancer research and care. From fitness challenges to student initiatives to personal tributes, each event reflects the heart of our community and the power of collective action.
Sweat for Our Sisters with DanceBody
On October 11, DanceBody once again brought purpose to the studio floor with its annual breast cancer fundraising event, Sweat for Our Sisters. Led by co-founders Courtnay and Katia, supporters came together for two high-energy classes that honored the women in their lives and supported TPA’s mission. The momentum continued from last year’s successful Sweat Pink event, underscoring DanceBody’s ongoing commitment to raising awareness and inspiring their community to take action.
In Honor of Nancy Rapenske: Melle’s Halloween Fundraiser
On October 31, Board Member Melissa Micari hosted her annual Halloween event at Blue Haven South in NYC—continuing a heartfelt tradition that celebrates her late mother, Nancy Rapenske. Marking ten years without Nancy, this year’s gathering honored her love of Halloween, her unforgettable costumes, and the joyful ways she celebrated with her family. Melle raised more than $5,000 through event support and individual donations, closing Breast Cancer Awareness Month—and ringing in Nancy’s November 1 birthday—in her honor.
Pure Barre Pittsburgh-Shadyside
Pure Barre Pittsburgh-Shadyside rallied its community for a breast cancer awareness fundraiser, bringing local supporters together for a day of movement and meaningful impact. Orangetheory Fitness Manhattan-UES E86th St., NY

Ridgewood High School Pink Out
Ridgewood High School’s Varsity Cheer Squad turned their annual Pink Out Game into a powerful show of student-led advocacy. Designing custom pink shirts and donating proceeds to The Pink Agenda, the team raised $200, with their football and band booster clubs stepping up to match the effort.
