In June 2025, Janet was playing with her son when she felt a sudden pain and then a lump. At just 35 years old with no family history, Janet had trouble getting an appointment for a mammogram. She was persistent and the following month she was told that she has stage 3 HR+, HER2-, IDC breast cancer. Initially, Janet went through a range of emotions but ultimately came to a place where she felt like she could really focus on treatment and tackling breast cancer.
A mom to two young children, Janet is concentrating on the future and dreaming of a time when she can get back to life post-treatment. As she finishes this phase of her journey, Janet is preparing to head back to the office along with other daily activities. Her wish was for a shopping experience to get some trendy clothes that she can enjoy. With the help of our friends at Kendra Scott, we were thrilled to be able to grant Janet a shopping spree to some of her favorite retailers!
