When Meredith was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, everyone around her was
amazed by her positive attitude throughout treatment – even on the day when she
decided to shave her head. Her sister said that Meredith has “always been [her] hero,
but on that day, she looked like a real superhero,” and she became inspired to nominate
Meredith for a FAB-U-WISH. With the help of our friends at Janie and Jack, we arranged
for Meredith and her daughters to have a special photoshoot where they were
transformed into the superheroes that they are! Meredith shared that the experience has
helped her look back on her cancer journey, and she’s grateful to have learned just how
strong she can be.
